Vajacial

What is a vajacial ?

For those of you new to the concept, the vajacial is a spa treatment performed on the vulva of the vagina. Focusing on the bikini line and outer labia. It does not actually deal with the inter vagina.

When should you get a vajacial ?

Vajacials are usually follow up treatments to help deal with side effects of hair removal on the vagina. It is recommended to get a vajacial up to 7 days post shaving or receiving a wax. It can also be done the same day as a Brazilian wax.

What are some benefits of a vajacial ?

Vajacials can help with evening out skin tone around the bikini and get rid of bacteria and skin-brightening treatments to lessen discoloration and hyperpigmentation. Helps with vaginal skin care, preventing irritation from waxing/shaving. Along with maintaining upkeep and promoting cosmetic benefits of the vagina, the vajacial also promotes body positivity.

What is the purpose of a vajacial ?

A vajacial treats ingrown hairs, removes dead skin cells, smooths bumps around bikini line, prevents acne, helps with hyperpigmentation, all to maintain healthy, smooth and hydrated skin in the vaginal area.

What does the procedure consist of ?

A vajacial is typically a 45 minute treatment, which includes a cleanse, mild enzyme exfoliant, extractions of ingrown hairs, followed by a custom mask, completed with a skin brightening serum or spot treatment. A light chemical peel can also be done in this area.

When should you get a vajacial?

Vajacials are usually follow up treatments to help deal with side effects of hair removal on the vulva and bikini area. At Perception you can do your Brazilian + Vajacial in the same day, it’s done as an add on to your waxinf session. It’s recommended to do a Vajacial up to 7 days post shaving or wax.

What are the products used?

At Perception we use LYCON’s PINKINI Brazilian Care Collection that has been designed with the intimate area in mind. The pre/post (PINKINI Cleanser, PINKINI Pre-Waxing Oil and PINKINI Finishing Lotion) all contain active soothing and hydrating ingredients designed for the intimate area. PINKINI Hot wax is made with Argan Oil and Chamomile. Designed with extra pliability and sensitive on the skin, PINKINI Hot wax is perfect for all intimate area waxing, but also great for other sensitive areas of the body like the underarm or facial waxing.NEW to the PINKINI line up of products is the PINKINI Intimate Mask which rapidly soothes, hydrates and conditions the skin. It can be applied immediately after cleansing (after waxing) and left on for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes has elapsed, wipe the mask off with a damp warm towel. Dry the skin thoroughly and apply PINKINI Lightening Serum or PINKINI Finishing Lotion. It is important that in between vajacials and waxing, clients perform at home care such as routinely exfoliating, moisturizing and applying lotion for extra hydration. For clients who have pigmentation, the PINKINI Lightening Serum is a perfect suggestion for at home treatment. Additionally, the PINKINI Intimate Wash is a Ph Balanced wash that moisturizes and cleanses the intimate area. Excellent for everyday use.

Are they for sensitive skin?

Even though this is a procedure for an intimate, more sensitive area, everyone’s area is different. Yes, this is safe for sensitive skin. A patch test will be done beforehand to ensure you will achieve maximum results.Vajacials can open and create a non-sexual and comfortable relationship for women who tend to stray away from that region of the body. A vajacial is also known to be a great stress relieving process such as getting a regular monthly facial, massage or mani/pedi.

The perfect treatment to add to a spa day for ultimate full body relaxation.
